Haidy El Zakzouky was born in Cairo. She graduated from the Faculty of Commerce with a bachelor's degree in accounting. For 20 years, she had a career working as an auditor, happy but not complete. Something was missing, something that completed her personality, her being. Finally, in 2016, she decided to pursue her passion for arts and attended various art courses and workshops to develop her skills. After two years of hard work and perseverance, joggling from counting to painting, she opted to stop her auditing career and focused on her art. A risky choice, but she made her decision.

Haidy's figurative style with vibrant colours and textured surfaces is contemporary yet abstract. Her spontaneous personality and profound spirituality show up in every brushstroke. Each painting has a deepness of colours and a feeling of happiness.

Haidy participated in several group exhibitions in Egypt (Cairo Opera House, Atelier du Caire, El Sawy Culture Wheel, Garden of Art Gallery). Her first international exhibition was at the Egyptian Culture Bureau in Rome, Italy.
